"How can over 5,000 women go missing every year without it becoming breaking news?
In Montana, indigenous people make up only 6% of the population, but account for almost half of its missing persons cases. Most of these cases are never investigated.
We meet Kimberly Heavy Runner Loring, who has been searching the 1.5 million acres of the Blackfeet Reservation for the past four years. She’s hoping to find any sign of her sister Ashley– one of these missing women.
Kimberly is now fighting to make a difference for the thousands of other missing women whose cases have not been heard, and she’s taking her sister’s story to Washington D.C.
