In an Instagram post announcing the track, Parton wrote, "I fell in love with Carl Dean when I was 18 years old. Parton highlighted Dean’s "trust, love and belief" throughout their nearly 60 years of marriage, despite facing "ups and downs." Parton announced her husband’s passing via Instagram, saying, "Carl and I spent many wonderful years together.
