As a fellow caretaker, Emma Heming Willis expressed her sympathies for Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa’s recent deaths. While she typically wouldn’t comment on the two-time Oscar winner’s "tragic passing," the wife of dementia-stricken Bruce Willis took to Instagram on March 10 to advocate for caregivers, noting her own similar role in her husband’s life. Emma’s remarks followed the confirmation of Betsy’s death at 63 on February 11, just a week before Gene passed at 95 on February 18.
