Brandon Sklenar and Meghann Fahy sat down with “Extra” during SXSW to sip some lemon drops and dish on their new thriller “Drop.” Fahy plays Violet, a widowed mother whose first date with the handsome Henry (Sklenar) turns into a nightmare when she receives phone messages from a mysterious figure threatening to kill her son unless she kills Henry. They both spoke about loving that it was so quick-moving and clever, with a twist at the end they didn’t see coming. Brandon was also happy to take a backseat to Meghann when it came to the action, which she admitted she found intimidating to take on. The pair also spoke about becoming really good friends while shooting in the same restaurant set day in and day out, which felt a bit like groundhog’s day and was a unique challenge. “Drop” is out April 11.
