Rising Star: Musician Polo G

Polo G is continuing his breakout streak.

The Chicago rapper’s sophomore album, The Goat, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 following its May 15 release. The 16-track album includes the RIAA gold-certified single “Go Stupid” featuring Stunna 4 Vegas, NLE Choppa, and Mike WiLL Made-It. It also features Polo G’s newest single, “DND.”

The success comes on the heels of the 2019 release of Polo G’s debut album, Die a Legend, which featured the singles “Finer Things,” “Effortless” and his top effort to date, “Pop Out” featuring Lil Tjay.

According to Billboard, the Columbia Records star is continuing his ascent to stardom by inking a worldwide representation deal with United Talent Agency.

“Less than a year after the release of [debut studio album] Die a Legend, Polo G has already become one of the most acclaimed and influential recording artists in the hip-hop community,” UTA agent Chris Jordan tells Billboard. “His powerful lyrics and authentic message have resonated with critics and fans alike, and we are looking forward to helping him expand his empire.”

“I poured my heart and soul into [second album] The Goat, and I am thrilled to see that the album is connecting with listeners,” adds Polo G. “Working with UTA will give me new opportunities to reach even wider audiences and continue to tell my story through my music.”
