Comedian Russell Brand has been charged with five counts, including rape, indecent assault, and sexual assault by London’s Metropolitan Police. Over six years, Russell is accused of assaulting four women, all of the alleged incidents happening in England between 1999 and 2005. Today, Russell is speaking out in a video message to deny the charges. While admitting to past bad behavior he insists, “What I never was, was a rapist. I’ve never engaged in non-consensual activity.”
