Prince Harry has expressed frustration over being "singled out for inferior treatment" after losing his bid for publicly-funded security during his visits to the U.K. Harry, 40, has appealed a decision regarding his protection by the Home Office and the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec). Court documents cited "recent security incidents," including threats from Al-Qaeda calling for Harry’s murder following Ravec’s change in his security status in February 2020, and a May 2023 incident involving Harry and Meghan in a dangerous car pursuit with paparazzi in New York City.
