Christopher Meloni sits down with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi to talk about the fifth season of “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” including the Benson and Stabler reunion! In an “Organized Crime” teaser, we see Mariska Hargitay’s Olivia Benson rushing to Elliot Stabler’s bedside after a near-fatal crash. Meloni teases that things are in a very bad place for Stabler and how she helps him heal and get better. He also dishes on his friendship with Mariska going back to their screen test in 1999, noting that it’s now multigenerational with their kids. Plus, Meloni reflects on the longevity his character has had, also sharing how happy it makes him to get love from law enforcement. “Law & Order: Organized Crime” premieres April 17 on Peacock.
