Teddi Mellencamp Says Son Checks If She’s Breathing Amid SCARY Cancer Fight (Exclusive)

Teddi Mellencamp sits down with “Extra’s” Billy Bush to talk about her journey with stage 4 cancer, after recently undergoing brain surgery to remove four tumors. She also revealed that doctors discovered additional tumors in her brain and lungs, and she’s now underdoing immunotherapy and radiation. Teddi opens up about having good days and bad days, how her children are coping, and how she and estranged husband Edwin Arroyave are working together as co-parents and friends. Teddi reflects on her prognosis and being “sad” at the idea of possibly not being here for her kids, vowing to “fight as hard as I can” and insisting, “I feel in my heart of hearts like I’m gonna beat it.” Mellencamp also gets candid about a particularly difficult day when she had to do her will, plus how she’s learned to let out her feelings and cry if she needs to.
