The high-stakes re-sentencing hearing for the Menendez Brothers began on Thursday, but there were fireworks from both sides even before court started! L.A. District Attorney Nathan Hochman repeated his mantra that the brothers have repeated lie after lie for decades. Lyle and Erik’s attorney Mark Geragos blasted Hochman for trying to delay the resentencing hearing early Thursday and for showing graphic crime scene photos in court with no warning for the family. The brothers’ 85-year-old aunt Terry Baralt was hospitalized after viewing the photos. Her daughter Ana Maria was in court on Thursday and said she felt “hopeful but nervous.”
