“Extra” chats with Willa Fitzgerald and Colin Woodell about their hit Netflix medical drama “Pulse.” The show starts with a hurricane about to hit Miami and the bombshell that Colin’s character Xander has been suspended, and Willa’s Dani is now chief at the ER. Willa said the show explores all kinds of complicated decisions in medicine and the characters’ own lives, with lots of personal and professional emergencies unfolding. Colin also talked about the highly complicated romantic entanglement between Xander and Willa. Plus, they both dished on some of the skills and vernacular they picked up while playing doctors. “Pulse” is streaming on Netflix.
