Tom Hardy REACTS to Oscars Adding Stunt Design: ‘It’s a Good Start’ (Exclusive)

Tom Hardy and writer-director Gareth Evans chat with “Extra’s” special correspondent Jake Hamilton about their new action-thriller “Havoc.” Hardy plays a detective who must fight his way through the criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son after a drug deal gone wrong, unraveling a deep web of corruption. Tom has played his share of tough characters — so who would win in a Thunderdome-style brawl with them all? Tom and Gareth also reacted to the Oscars finally adding a category for Achievement in Stunt Design, with Tom saying he hopes more stunt categories will follow. They also talked about the stunts and fight scenes in “Havoc” and the inevitability of taking some bumps and bruises while filming. “Havoc” is out April 25.
