As the new year approaches, awards voters are looking back at some of the best performances in a wide range of infamous TV shows over the year, and the impact individuals, and their shows had on audiences.

In a Variety Awards Circuit video presented by HBO, senior editors Danielle Turchiano and Michael Schneider revealed their predictions for best individual performances in the winter awards category, with praised shows including "Succession," "Ted Lasso" and "Insecure," — along with shows that should not be forgotten, like "Pose" and "The Chair."
