In a recent letter to the judge, Lively’s legal team stated, “As Ms. Lively’s counsel have attempted, repeatedly, to caution Mr. Freedman, federal litigation must be conducted in court and according to the relevant rules of professional conduct.” They contended that Freedman’s public statements were intended to undermine the reputation of relevant parties.
