On February 12, the former talk show host signed court documents asserting she has "regained capacity" to live independently and does not suffer from frontotemporal dementia. Her attorney plans to file an Emergency Order to Show Cause, requesting a rapid court appearance for Williams to present her case for ending the guardianship. This decision follows claims made by Williams earlier this month on Charlamagne Tha God’s "The Breakfast Club" podcast, where she reiterated her lack of frontotemporal dementia, expressing frustration with her current living situation in a memory care unit.
