Backstreet’s back, alright! Twenty-five years after their “Millennium” album, the Backstreet Boys are dropping “Millennium 2.0” and heading “Into the Millennium” with a residency at Sphere Vegas this July. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, and Kevin Richardson sit down with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi to dish on all the exciting news. They’ll be the first pop act to headline Sphere and spoke about loving the immersive visuals the one-of-a-kind venue offers — and they’ll still be bringing the dance moves and fun surprises fans love! The guys also reflected on how life has changed since their 1999 Millennium tour and all having families now. Plus, they shared how they’ve stayed so close over 30+ years as a group, emphasizing communication and their shared passion for the music. Tickets for “Into the Millennium” go on sale Feb. 21 and “Millennium 2.0” is out on the first day of the residency, July 11.
