MSNBC Shake-Up: Anchors Joy Reid and Alex Wagner Axed From Lineup as Network Tries to Salvage Rating

According to reports, the network has canceled anchor Joy Reid’s show, The ReidOut, to introduce a new panel series featuring Symone Sanders-Townsend, Alicia Menendez, and Michael Steele, which will air Tuesday through Friday at 7 p.m. In another surprising move, Alex Wagner will be removed from her 9 p.m. weeknight slot following Rachel Maddow’s transition from a weekly to nightly host for the first 100 days of the Trump administration.
