Hiroyuki Sanada and “Shōgun” are cleaning up in the TV races this awards season! He spoke to “Extra’s” Terri Seymour at the 2025 Film Independent Spirit Awards, revealing that the writers room is at work on Season 2 of the show, though he doesn’t yet know when filming stars. Hiroyuki also reflected on why the show has been such a hit and trying to introduce the Japanese culture to the world.
