Kandi Burruss chatted with “Extra’s” Terri Seymour on the carpet at the 2025 ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards. “Reasonable Doubt” creator Raamla Mohamed was among the honorees, and Kandi spoke about getting the chance to act on the series and the importance of telling Black stories. Kandi is also producing the upcoming Broadway production of “Othello” with Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, and she raved that they are “really cool”! Plus, while Kandi has said goodbye to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” she spoke about being excited for the door to be open to new stories with the revamped cast.
