Prosecutors are filing papers to drop the criminal charges against Alec Baldwin in the fatal “Rust” shooting of Halyna Hutchins. The original special prosecutor stepped down, and two new prosecutors took over. The dropped charges means no prison time for Alec and puts an end to the contentious battle over how the gun went off on the New Mexico set.
