Despite suing Donald Trump in 2013 for blasphemous remarks, Bill Maher has engaged in dialogue with the president, notably joining him for dinner at the White House in March. He expressed satisfaction in directly telling Trump, “You’re scaring people,” and he highlighted the importance of addressing past behavior, including Trump’s mocking of Barack Obama’s birth origins in 2011.
