Chiwetel Ejiofor Says Renée Zellweger NEVER Broke ‘Bridget Jones’ Accent (Exclusive)

Chiwetel Ejiofor chatted with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi at the NYC premiere of “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.” The movie sees his science teacher character caught in a love triangle with Renée Zellweger’s Bridget Jones and a much younger man, played by Leo Woodall. He shared that Renée never came out of her British accent while filming, and he only heard her speak in her own accent when they started the press tour! He also raved over loving the emotional and funny script and his “really special” character. “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” is streaming on Peacock February 13.
