Eugenio Derbez Praises The Ukrainian President’s Handling Of The Russian Invasion

Fresh off his SAG Award win for his performance in CODA, Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez is asked if it is strange to be celebrating amid the Russia/Ukraine crisis. "It’s awkward but at the same thing we need to keep moving forward." Derbez added, "It’s important every time we have a camera in front to address we need this to stop. I’m really proud of the president from Ukraine [Volodymyr Zelenskyy]. He’s a very smart guy. He has shown all the leaders around the world how smart he is. And I’m really proud because he’s a comedian, a fellow performer."
