Despite the kiss, there is no romantic connection between the two; Berry is currently dating musician Van Hunt, while Brody is with designer Georgina Chapman, ex-wife of Harvey Weinstein. Their first kiss occurred in 2003 when Berry announced Brody as the Best Actor winner for The Pianist, catching her off guard and prompting Brody to joke, "I bet they didn’t tell you that was in the gift bag."
