Emma D’Arcy dished on what’s in store for “House of the Dragon” Season 2 at the NYC premiere. Emma said the show picks up about two weeks later, as Rhaenyra Targaryen is grief-stricken after the death of her son Lucerys. Emma remarked on a “hell of an arc” for her character, who must now go to war against her childhood friend Alicent Hightower. They also said Rhaenyra continues to be surrounded by people who are “endlessly critical” of her choices and abilities. “House of the Dragon” Season 2 premieres June 9 on Max.
