“Extra’s” Rachel Lindsay spoke to Natalie Portman at the premiere of “Angel City,” the new docuseries she executive produced that goes behind the scenes of the groundbreaking L.A.-based National Women’s Soccer League team. Natalie, who is one of the co-founders of Angel City Football Club, revealed how her son inspired her to take on the challenge of building the franchise from scratch with primarily female investors. Natalie also talked about highlighting the pay gap in sports and what can be done to tackle that. Plus, she voiced her support for the WGA strike and her hopes for a just and quick resolution. The three-part “Angel City” docuseries premieres May 16 on HBO and HBO Max.
