Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen and Mary Steenburgen sat down with THR’s Tiffany Taylor to chat all about their new romantic comedy ‘Book Club: The Next Chapter,’ a sequel to their 2018 movie about a group of lifelong friends. The iconic actresses opened up about reuniting to film the movie in Rome and the movie’s powerful messages about choosing your own destiny, no matter your age, and friendship. Fonda has previously said that it’s hard to be young, but life gets better with age. The actresses also revealed what things in their lives have gotten greater later that they feel young people have to look forward to. ‘Book Club: The Next Chapter’ is now playing in theaters.
