He controversially stated, "HAVING R——- CHILDREN IS A CHOICE," before deleting the post and asserting that Jay-Z had "no power" over him, implying he was merely afraid of repercussions on his X account. West also criticized Jay-Z and Beyoncé, stating, "AT LEAST JAY Z AND BEYONCE GET TO RAISE THEIR R——- A– KIDS," expressing frustration over not being more involved with his own children—North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5—following his divorce from Kim Kardashian.
