Kate McKinnon chatted with “Extra” ahead of “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” in NYC, a night she said felt “really overwhelming.” She spoke about how being on the show was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, and said she was getting “too emo” just thinking about it! Kate also raved about what a supportive environment it is for performers and recalled paying it forward by embracing Bowen Yang when he first joined the cast.
