Every day, Mickey breaks through barriers within the country music industry- persevering through racial discrimination, standing up and being a voice for the voiceless, and pressing forward even when the odds are stacked against her- all while having fun and doing the thing she loves most.

"I have learned to be comfortable in rooms full of people that don’t look like me. And now it is your turn to learn to become comfortable being in rooms where people don’t look like you."
