Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) has been treating a young ‘biohacker’ who has given himself implants that have caused medical issues, but Shaun’s big takeaway from the teen is that finding your ‘tribe’ — your people — is important. As Dr. Jordan Allen (Bria Samone Henderson) and Lea (Paige Spara) collaborate on a medical device in their spare time, and thus spend a lot of time at Shaun and Lea’s place, Shaun lays down the ground rules, and in doing so, welcomes Dr. Allen into their home.
