ABOUT THE PEOPLE’s CHOICE AWARDS 2022:
Hosted by Kenan Thompson for the second consecutive year, the "People’s Choice Awards" celebrates all forms of entertainment, chosen entirely by the people. In each of the 40 categories, fans worldwide choose from nominees representing movies, television, music and pop culture.
This year, five-time Grammy Award-winning global superstar Shania Twain will receive the Music Icon award. Emmy and Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, rapper and actress Lizzo will receive the People’s Champion award. Golden Globe and Grammy Award-nominated actor, producer, screenwriter and entrepreneur Ryan Reynolds will receive the People’s Icon award.

The 2022 "People’s Choice Awards" will air on NBC and E! on Tuesday, December 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. "Live from E!: The 2022 People’s Choice Awards" will kick off the night with a red carpet special at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on E!.
