A defiant Wendy Williams is speaking out from her room on the fifth floor of a New York City assisted living facility. From behind glass with a TMZ camera outside, she talked to Harvey Levin about her life inside. She’s been fighting a court-ordered guardianship since 2022 and compares her existence to a convicted criminal’s life, with no internet access and virtually no visitors. Levin interviewed Wendy for the documentary “TMZ Presents: Saving Wendy,” airing now on Tubi, and he spoke to ‘Extra” about his impressions of the former talk show host’s mental status – Wendy was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023, but she recently insisted that diagnosis was wrong.
